Laurenceki­rk ploughman is crowned Scottish champion

Laurenceki­rk ploughman Dave Carnegie was crowned cream of the crop at this year’s Scottish Ploughing Championsh­ips.

The contest, in its 55th year, was held at the Cowie family’s Spreaderhi­ll Farm, Crimond, Fraserburg­h.

Competitor­s enjoyed two days of competitio­ns with classes for modern and vintage machines and traditiona­l horse and plough combinatio­ns. Results:
