Laurencekirk ploughman is crowned Scottish champion
competition: Fields of glory for Dave Carnegie at Fraserburgh event
Laurencekirk ploughman Dave Carnegie was crowned cream of the crop at this year’s Scottish Ploughing Championships.
The contest, in its 55th year, was held at the Cowie family’s Spreaderhill Farm, Crimond, Fraserburgh.
Competitors enjoyed two days of competitions with classes for modern and vintage machines and traditional horse and plough combinations. Results:
