United Auctions in Stirling sold 1,733 suckled calves at their annual show and sale of suckled calves yesterday. Also forward were 4,075 store and breeding sheep. Bullocks (1,099) averaged 263.36p to 422.40p per kg for a 232kg LimX from Upper Samieston and £1,080 for a 405kg SimX from Ardtornish. Heifers (634) averaged 243.98p and to 359.20p per kg for a 284kg LimX from Cairncurran and £1,020 for a 284kg LimX from Cairncurran.
