Bullocks (12) sold to a top of 259p per kilo for a 633kg Limousin from Nethermyre­s and to £1,659.20 for a 680kg Limousin, also from Nethermyre­s, to average 248p per kg.

Heifers (16) sold to a top of 260p per kilo for a 539kg Limousin from Nethermyre­s and to £1,484.70 for a 606kg Limousin from Craignathr­o Farms Ltd, to average 249p per kg.

Caledonian Marts Ltd, Stirling, sold 2,914 prime lambs, ewes and tups. Lambs averaged 166.9ppkg (+1.15p on the week) with 1877 (39kg+), averaging £76.42 (+£1.06 on the week). Top price of the day went to Doune Farms at £103 for a pair of 54kg Beltex Lambs.

Top ppk went to RA Campbell & Son, Meikle Seggie, at 209p for a pen of nine 41kg Beltex lambs.
