FORTEVIOT : Forteviot Christmas fair will be held on Saturday in the village hall from 10am to 2pm and will feature various craft stands, refreshmen­ts and cakes.

PERTH: St Matthew’s Guild in Perth is holding a coffee morning on Saturday from 10am-11.30am in St Matthew’s Hall which is entered from the Watergate. There will be home baking, lucky dip, jams and Christmas goods.

BARNARDO’S: Children’s charity Barnardo’s Scotland is urging the people of Perthshire to clear out their toy shelves in preparatio­n for Christmas and help less fortunate families in the process. The charity’s three local stores in Blairgowri­e, Perth and Pitlochry are asking for donations of toys and games, as well as unwanted gifts, to support local children, young people and families.

ARTHRITIS: The speaker at the November meeting of Arthritis Awareness in Atholl was Kirsty McWilliam of Riders of the Storm, Scotland’s equestrian stunt team. Chairman Hugh Mackintosh gave the vote of thanks.

PITLOCHRY: Pitlochry Inner Wheel is holding a coffee morning on Saturday in the Church of Scotland Tryst at 10am. All proceeds to Children In Need and CHAS.

FLOWER CLUB:

Derek Morgan will demonstrat­e at the monthly meeting of Pitlochry Flower Club in Pitlochry Hydro Hotel at 2pm today. The title of his demonstrat­ion will be Woodland Walks.

KILLIN:

Tickets are now on sale for the third annual Killin Music Festival which takes place on June 15, 16 and 17 next year.
