FORTEVIOT : Forteviot Christ­mas fair will be held on Satur­day in the vil­lage hall from 10am to 2pm and will fea­ture var­i­ous craft stands, re­fresh­ments and cakes.

PERTH: St Matthew’s Guild in Perth is hold­ing a cof­fee morn­ing on Satur­day from 10am-11.30am in St Matthew’s Hall which is en­tered from the Water­gate. There will be home bak­ing, lucky dip, jams and Christ­mas goods.

BARNARDO’S: Chil­dren’s char­ity Barnardo’s Scot­land is urg­ing the peo­ple of Perthshire to clear out their toy shelves in prepa­ra­tion for Christ­mas and help less for­tu­nate fam­i­lies in the process. The char­ity’s three lo­cal stores in Blair­gowrie, Perth and Pit­lochry are ask­ing for do­na­tions of toys and games, as well as un­wanted gifts, to sup­port lo­cal chil­dren, young peo­ple and fam­i­lies.

ARTHRITIS: The speaker at the November meet­ing of Arthritis Aware­ness in Atholl was Kirsty McWil­liam of Rid­ers of the Storm, Scot­land’s eques­trian stunt team. Chair­man Hugh Mackin­tosh gave the vote of thanks.

PIT­LOCHRY: Pit­lochry In­ner Wheel is hold­ing a cof­fee morn­ing on Satur­day in the Church of Scot­land Tryst at 10am. All pro­ceeds to Chil­dren In Need and CHAS.

FLOWER CLUB:

Derek Mor­gan will demon­strate at the monthly meet­ing of Pit­lochry Flower Club in Pit­lochry Hy­dro Ho­tel at 2pm today. The ti­tle of his de­mon­stra­tion will be Wood­land Walks.

KILLIN:

Tick­ets are now on sale for the third an­nual Killin Mu­sic Fes­ti­val which takes place on June 15, 16 and 17 next year.
