Man banned from play parks

-

A man has been banned from every play park in the Perth and Kinross area while he awaits trial for following women and children.

Damien Klich had the unusual bail condition imposed after appearing at Perth Sheriff Court.

The 31-year-old, of Lochalsh Road in Inverness, is also prohibited from entering Kinross.

Klich is accused of causing terror to a number of women in the summer.

It is alleged that on June 19 at Sainbury’s in Kinross he behaved in a threatening manner by approaching a woman as she sat in her vehicle and attempting to speak to a toddler in the car.

He is then said to have followed her into the store, repeatedly followed her round the store, stared at her, tried to talk to her and loitered outside when told to leave.

Kilch is further accused of conducting himself in a disorderly manner at the town’s Kirkgate Park on the same day by staring at and following various women and their children for a prolonged period.

A third charge alleges that he behaved in a threatening manner by repeatedly following two women on Kinross’ Station Road, Ochil View, Green Road and Green Park and loitering outside the address they entered. The alleged offence took place on June 18.

He also faces two charges of breaching bail.

Klich denies all charges and will stand trial in March.
