Punterscan hope for Boost at Southwell
Headgear could help focus mind of Sir Mark Prescott’s three-year-old
BOOST can improve for her recent reappearance as she tackles the Betway Sprint Handicap at Southwell.
Sir Mark Prescott’s three-year-old showed plenty of promise on the allweather at the beginning of the year, winning two of her three starts and finding the talented Gilgamesh a bit too good before embarking on a summer break.
Boost returned to action off an unchanged mark of 81 at Wolverhampton two weeks ago and even with the cheekpieces applied for the first time, she possibly did not give it her all in the finish.
That said, she was only beaten just over two lengths in fifth so she certainly has the ability.
Prescott reaches for the visor here and the application of a bit more headgear could help to focus her mind.
WHY ME is an interesting Irish raider for Gavin Cromwell in the sunbets.co.uk Handicap.
Opportunities are obviously not overly plentiful on the all-weather in Ireland, but given this seven-year-old has yet to strike in 11 starts, it is intriguing to see Cromwell take his chance here.
This is a pretty weak event though and lining up off a mark of just 47, Why Me could just break his duck.
Stuart Edmunds can do little wrong at present so his CLASSIC BEN is of
interest in the West Street North Creake “National Hunt” Novices’ Hurdle at Fakenham. SELECTIONS:
