SCONE SENIORS:
Scone Seniors Club meets in the RDM Institute on Wednesday at 2pm for its Christmas Party.
Entertainment will come courtesy of staff and pupils from RDM School.
ERROL PENSIONERS: The group stages a Christmas bingo tea at the Masonic Lodge in Errol High Street on Thursday from 7.30pm.
CAROL SERVICE:
Local churches are looking forward to celebrating together in the annual carol service organised by Perth Action for Churches Together.
It takes place in the North Church in Perth’s Mill Street on Friday from 7pm.
Entry is free, though a collection will be taken in support of international and local charities.
CITIZEN OF THE YEAR: The Rotary Club of Pitlochry is inviting members of the public to nominate a candidate for their Citizen of the Year Award 2018.
The person nominated should reside in the area of Pitlochry, Blair Atholl and Ballinluig and play an important part in local community life.
Nominations should be sent to Dougal Spaven, WesterKnockfarrie, Knockfarrie Road, Pitlochry PH16 5DN, by March 5.
FITNESS:
Perth College UHI’s multimillion-pound Academy of Sport and Wellbeing is opening its gym membership to the public.
Opened in 2016, the academy is part of the college’s Crieff Road campus.

Glenfarg Folk Club meets at Backstage at the Green Hotel in Kinross this evening from 7.30pm.
Entertainment at the fundraising event comes from Cupar four-piece Forgaitherin.
Admission is £6 for members and £9 for non-members.
