Teen in dangerous driving trial
A teenage motorist accused of driving dangerously on the A9 will stand trial at Perth Sheriff Court on December 22.
Liam Robb, 17, of Bruce Gardens, Dunkeld, denies that on November 4, 2015, he drove dangerously on the road near Dunkeld, at excessive speed and repeatedly drove behind a vehicle without leaving sufficient stopping distance.
Robb also denies driving on to the opposite carriageway and alongside a vehicle, then returning to the correct carriageway, forcing the other driver to take evasive action to avoid a collision.
Jacqueline Robertson, 45, of Breadalbane Terrace, Aberfeldy, is accused of sending an abusive and threatening text message to a woman between November 29 and 30 last year.
She denies the charge and is due to go on trial on March 13.
An intermediate diet was arranged for February 22.
Danielle Black, 24, from Arbroath, will also stand trial at Perth Sheriff Court on December 20, after she was accused of trying to smuggle drugs into jail.
She denies trying to bring cannabis resin into Perth Prison on August 31 by concealing it on herself in the building’s visiting area.
Black also denies supplying cannabis at the jail and being in possession of the drug and kicking a police officer in the head at Perth police station on the same day.
