Lawrie & Symington in Forfar had forward 942 prime sheep.
Prime sheep:
Prime lambs (772) sold to 203.3p per kg and 200p per kg for Beltex from Shandford, and £96 for Beltex from Easter Balgillo, to average 174.4p per kilo.

Caledonian Marts Ltd in Stirling sold 2,397 prime lambs, ewes and tups.
All classes of lambs (52kg and under) saw slightly dearer trade to last week, a good show of heavy lambs 52kg+ would be £10 up on the week to average £91.16.
Overall sale average for 1,788 lambs was 175ppkg (-0.6p on the week).
Top price of the day went to WM Bell & Son, Craigend and Doune Farms, West Lundie, at £103.
Top price per kg went to Craigend for a pair of 42.5kg Beltex at £97 or 228ppkg.

A total of 155 export ewes averaged £43.75. Tups sold to £116 for a pen of Texels from C Rimmer, Shielhill, Braco.
