Campaigner Andrew to set up local branch of Marie Curie

A Crieff resident is setting up his own charity branch following the death of his father.

Andrew Aitken’s dad Peter was supported through his terminal illness by Marie Curie.

Since losing his father, Andrew has shown his support to Marie Curie by raising money through a series of sponsored challenges, including marathons, cycles and triathlons, as well as helping organise the annual Great Daffodil Appeal.

Andrew is setting up a Marie Curie fundraising group in the Crieff area. He will hold a meeting at Crieff Hydro at 6.30pm on January 18.
