An idea worth floating

The image of picturesque St Monans on the east Fife coast as a centre of boat conservation excellence is an appealing one. What better setting could there be for master craftsmen to ply their trade and keep alive one of the region’s most cherished industries?

That such a vision could be blocked by something as mundane as the creation of a car park and toilet block seems a shame. It is worthy of further consideration.
