Ramsay signs on for Flyers

-

Fife Flyers have signed Canadian forward Brady Ramsay.

The 24-year-old began the season with Elite League champions Sheffield Steelers and has experience of playing in North American leagues with the Chicago Blackhawks ECHL (East Coast Hockey League) affiliate Indy Fuel, Tulsa Oilers, Stockton Thunder and Ontario Reign.

Fife assistant coach Jeff Hutchins was delighted with the latest addition to the squad.

H said: “Brady will complement the type of team we have this year. He is a young energetic team guy that can play in all situations and positions.

“We have had very positive references on him which was key in deciding who to bring in.

“We have a special group here and we wanted to make sure we brought in a guy that could add value with little disruption to the current team dynamic.”

Ramsay will be in the line up for this Saturday’s Gardiner Conference match against Edinburgh Capitals.

Fife have won their last seven league games and have climbed to third with 42 points from 28 games.
