Young has eyes on Thomson

East Fife manager Darren Young is keeping an eye on St Johnstone’s plans for Craig Thomson in the hope he will be able to take the 22-year-old to Bayview.

Thomson has been with the Perth club for 10 years, but has only started five games.

Young said: “Craig impressed me when he was with Stranraer last season and I have been keeping tabs on him since. I would like to speak to him if St Johnstone see him securing first team football elsewhere.”
