Kamara staying put at Dens

- ERIC NICOLSON

Glen Kamara has reassured Dundee fans that he isn’t looking to move away from Dens Park in January.

The midfielder, who has had an outstanding first few months for Neil McCann’s side, is on international duty with Finland.

Kamara featured in a friendly against Jordan. Asked in an interview with the Finnish FA whether a January transfer was likely, he said: “I don’t think so.”

Then asked whether he wanted to see out the season with Dundee, Kamara replied: “Definitely. It’s been really good. I’m looking to say there and hopefully climb up the table.”

Meanwhile, English non-league defender Nathan Ralph has been linked with a potential move north to Dundee.

Reports have suggested Neil McCann is tracking the Woking left-back, with Hearts also keeping tabs, along with Charlton Athletic, Bury, Doncaster Rovers and Oxford United.

The 24-year-old is out of contract in the summer so a suitable offer could tempt the National League club to cash in this month.

Bury are said to have already had a five-figure bid turned down.
