Building work could soon start on 40 new affordable homes
Construction work on a major new affordable housing development in Newburgh could start on site next month, it has emerged.
Kingdom Housing Association has confirmed it is close to completing a design and build contract with Robertson Partnership Homes for 40 new properties at Banklands.
A total of 22 flats and 18 houses have been proposed. They will be a mixture of one, two and three-bedroom properties.
If agreement is reached as expected, work should commence in February. The development has been earmarked for completion in the spring of 2019.
Kingdom is working in partnership with Fife Council to construct new affordable housing throughout the region.
