Charity aims to make adapted gym accessible to all

-

Disabled residents in Perth could be given access to a specially adapted gym when it opens next month.

Capability Scotland is behind the scheme at Upper Springland on Isla Road – the biggest centre of its kind in Scotland.

Charity bosses aim to make it accessible to more people as time goes on.

A spokeswoman said: “This is potentially an exciting project for the wider community.

“In the future we hope that the space will be available to adults with physical disabilities who live in the community and do not have access to this type of equipment elsewhere.”

A grand opening is due to be held on February 6.
