Bullocks ave 220ppkg, selling to 268.5ppkg for a pen of Charolais from Gilmour Farms and to £1,200 for Simmentals from Craighead, Stirling.

Heifers ave 209ppkg selling to 240p for Limousins from Bowridge and to £1,100 for Charolais from Balcachie.

Store bulls sold to 262p from Keirsbeath Farms and to £980 from the same home.

Black and white bullocks ave 149p selling to 195p from Macrindles­ton Farm and to £760 from the same home.

Bullocks – £1,180, £1,160 and £1150 East Kerse; £1,150 Wester Braco and Craighead; £1,140 Craighead, Crosshill and East Kerse; £1,130 East Kerse; £1,110 Shutterfla­t, Shortrigg and East Kerse.

Heifers – £1,080 Bowridge; £1,060 East Kerse; £1,050 Hillhead (Imrie); £1,030 Wester Braco; £1,010 Spittal; £1,000 The Acres.

Top price of the day went to Balcachie for a pen of Texel Hoggets at £88.
