Pansies boss Dunn calls for same again

-

Delighted by Violet’s recovery from going two goals behind at Blairgowrie last week, Pansies boss John Dunn is looking for the same commitment when fourth-placed Scone Thistle check in at Glenesk today.

The only likely change in the secondplaced hosts’ side is Gary Thain taking over from 16-year-old Lewis Coutts between the sticks.

Thistle welcome back Sean Whitworth from suspension and Gary Mackie will have a late fitness test, but Craig Mitchell and Charlie Fertacz remain sidelined.

The bottom versus top clash at Guthrie Park between stragglers Forfar Albion and leaders North End was postponed yesterday so the Dokens will now host Coupar Angus looking for a 13th straight victory.

Coupar Angus, boosted by last week’s 7-1 win over Harp, are unlikely to show many changes.

Buoyed by last week’s cup win over Premier League Fauldhouse, Luncarty will be looking to maintain their promotion bid at home to East Craigie. The Bleachers expect to have the same squad available.

Meanwhile, their visitors, who are at full strength, will be out to build on last week’s win – their first since October.

Harp boss Michael Gormley’s options for the visit of Kinnoull are limited with Sam McDonald, Jay Smart, Mark Kelly Sam Hodgson, Lewis Young and Connaire Connelly all ruled out.

The third-placed visitors have signed goalkeeper Grant Henderson on loan from Kelty Hearts and defender Mark Duigan, signed on a short-term loan from Jeanfield

Blairgowrie hope to get back on a winning track against Brechin Vics.

Corrie Gray is added to last week’s Berrypickers squad.

With keeper Leighton Davidson injuring his shoulder last week at Tayport, Brechin boss Phil Maguire is searching for an on-loan replacement.

Arbroath Vics, who welcome Lochore Welfare, are without Kyle Findlayson, Dean Hardie, Dylan Cook, Jordan Will and player-boss Paul Tosh. Their 16-man squad will include trialists.

The Fifers are missing Lewis Thompson, Dean Ewing and Matthew Christie, but Liam Valentine, Ben Rolland and Ewan Robertson return.

Following the tragic death of Newburgh player Ross Cook, the Fife club’s home game with Coupar Angus has been postponed.
