PERTH: NEWS IN BRIEF
MYELOMA:
The latest meeting of the Perth Myeloma Group will take place in the coffee lounge at Perth Baptist Church on Wednesday at 7pm.
Alison McKean of McKean Gardner Ltd will be talking on the subject of power of attorney.
NEEDLECRAFT:
Perth Needlecraft Circle meets at Vision PK in Perth’s New Row on Wednesday between 2pm and 4pm.
Tracey Markey will be teaching participants how to do needle felting.
PERTH GREENS:
The next ordinary meeting of the Perth branch of the Scottish Green Party takes place at the Mercure Hotel on Monday February 26 at 7.30pm.
At the branch AGM, Fionna Wallace and Michael Gallagher were unanimously elected as co-conveners.
Paul Vallot became the vice-convener, Bob Talbot the honorary secretary, while Philip Bryers was elected membership secretary.
Louisa Evans became the branch fundraiser and Elspeth Maclachlan became the elections coordinator.
PERTH PDSA:
Staff at the Perth PDSA store are urging local animal lovers to donate their unwanted items or time to help sick and injured pets.

PERTH COLLEGE: Perth College UHI is running March training programmes designed to support the hospitality industry.
They include a one-day course in food hygiene and another for personal licence holders.
