President Irene Smith welcomed members and introduced Margaret Young, who gave an illustrated talk about Mary’s Meals. Competitions: three flapjacks – 1 M Duthie, 2 M Gordon, 3 K Pirie; decorative pencil case – 1 S Urie, 2 C Pickthall.
COLLACE AND KINROSSIE.
President Janet Rougvie introduced Constable Mark Stewart, who spoke about how to stay safe online. Competitions: vegetable soup in a flask – 1 A Mailer, 2 L Watson; knitted woolly hat – 1 M Martin, 2 L Donaldson. At the January meeting, Helen Lunan spoke about bee keeping. Competitions: three biscuits with honey – 1 C Strathie, 2 M Martin; bookmark (any craft) – 1 M Martin, 2 L Watson. The next meeting is on February 13.
KILLIN. Cath McGregor from Aberfeldy Herb Society gave a talk about growing herbs and their many uses. Competitions: a herb scone – 1 M Galloway,

President Muriel Brown welcomed members to the Highland games in which the group was divided into five teams. Competitions: three shortbread fingers

President Joy Reid welcomed Johnathon Mitchell, who gave an illustrated talk on how paintings started millions of years ago. STRATHALLAN.

TAY VALLEY. The group’s meeting took place in Methven, with entertainment from the Barbershop Singers. Competitions: 6x4 animal photo – 1 S Bruges (Butterstone), 2 J Begg (Logiealmond), 3 H Coventry (Pitcairngreen).
