Valuable off-road bikes stolen

Police have issued an appeal following the theft of two off-road motorbikes worth around £8,000 in total.

Thieves stole an orange and white KTM 350cc motocross motorbike, valued at £6,000, and a red and blue Honda CRF 250cc bike, valued at £2,000, after breaking into a garage in Stirling Road, Milnathort, between February 23 and 28.

Elsewhere, vandals removed a picnic bench from the grounds of Moness House Hotel and Club, Aberfeldy, between February 25 and 27. The picnic bench was found nearby but had been damaged with paint.

Police are also trying to trace a vandal who smashed a window at a lodge in Blairgowri­e Holiday Park, Hatton Road, Blairgowri­e, around 8pm on February 26.

Meanwhile, metal bollards at Stagecoach’s premises in Dunkeld Road, Perth, were damaged by being kicked and struck with a wooden stick around 7pm on February 24.

Vandals smashed the rear window of a black Vauxhall Vectra while it was parked in Foundry Lane, Perth, around 3am, on March 1.

A window pane was smashed at a property at McDonald Court, Perth, overnight on February 25/26.

And a wooden planter and banisters outside The Crieff Food Company, High Street, Crieff, were broken on March 1.
