ABERNETHY: Abernethy Horticultural Society’s next meeting will be the AGM on Wednesday March 14 at 7.30pm at the Masons Hall, Main Street, Abernethy. After the meeting members will be invited to choose from several Scottish gardens nominated for the annual garden visit which will take place in June.
SCONE:
The Tayside Kidney Patients’ Association is holding a prize bingo tonight at 7.30pm in the RDM Institute, Scone.
AUCHTERARDER:
The Scottish Diaspora Tapestry is the subject of a talk to the Auchterarder and District Local History Association next week. The illustrated talk on Friday March 16 at 7.30pm in the Aytoun Hall will be given by Arran Johnston of the Battle of Prestonpans Heritage Trust.
NEEDLECRAFT:
Perth Needlecraft Circle’s next meeting is on March 14 from 2pm to 4pm at Vision PK, New Row, Perth, and will be an opportunity to work on unfinished items. The AGM will be on March 28 at the same venue.
ST NINIAN’S:
A lunchtime concert by Craigclowan School organised by Friends of Perth Cathedral Music at Perth Cathedral St Ninian’s for March 17 has had to be cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances.
SENIORS CLUB:
Scone Seniors Club will pay its annual visit to Robert Douglas Memorial School on Wednesday March 14 for an afternoon of music and song with pupils and staff. Club members should be at the school for 2pm.
SPEAKERS CLUB:
Perth Speakers Club will hold a dinner and prize-giving on March 23 at the Salutation Hotel at 7pm for a 7.30pm start.
