Mr E Scrymgeour last night addressed a meeting with the view to his becoming a candidate for the Parliamentary representation of Dundee. The meeting was held in St Andrew’s Church Hall and Mr George Robertson presided over a large attendance. Mr Scrymgeour reviewed the attitude of the Labour party in the present situation and specially dealt with the intimation made throughout the country that Labour was coming into power. It looked mysterious, he said, but it was all quite simple.
