Read all about it – pupils have words to say for World Book Day

Pupils from North Muirton Primary School won prizes in a World Book Day competition celebrating the local community.

Leah Phillips (P3) and Elizabeth Edgar (P4) were joint winners of the competition, with their poem which focused on their favourite aspect of living in Muirton.

Second place was awarded to Daniel Taylor of P2, who accompanied his story with a picture of him playing football in the park. Ellie McLaren (P5) was third.
