SCONE Scone and District 50+ Group’s next meeting will take place on Wednesday March 21 at 2pm in the Robert Douglas Memorial Hall on Abbey Road.

Perth Film Makers are coming to show some of their work, doors open at 1.30pm.

PERTH MEN’S SHED Zero Waste Perth is delivering a presentati­on on Saturday March 17 to Perth Men’s Shed about recycling in Perth and the surroundin­g area.

The presentati­on is in the North Inch Community Campus in Gowans Terrace at 10.30am.

BANKFOOT Bankfoot Church Community Centre Support Group will be opening a nearly-new fundraisin­g shop in Howe’s Corner Shop in Blairgowri­e on Saturday March 24 at 10am.

The shop will be open daily to Friday March 30.

AUCHTERARD­ER The Friends of Aytoun Hall in Auchterard­er have thanked local people for supporting a fundraisin­g coffee morning that raised £575, which will help with maintenanc­e of the building owned by the local community.

Their next event will be a collaborat­ion with the Community School of Auchterard­er, two lunchtime concerts in the Aytoun Hall on June 14 and 15.

BRIDGE OF CALLY A Scottish concert with Gordon Pattullo, Billy Anderson, Joe Aitken and Lindsay Downie will be held in Bridge of Cally Hall on Friday March 16 at 7.30pm.

Proceeds will go to hall funds, for tickets contact 01250 886339.

MOULIN North Perthshire Family History Group’s next meeting is on Thursday in Moulin Hall at 2.30pm when the speaker will be family historian, Ken Nisbet.

CHARITY WALK 85-year-old Joyce Coupar from Blairgowri­e is undertakin­g a charity walk at Loch Leven for Chest, Heart and Stroke Scotland on March 25.

Donations can be made to the cause at Blair’s Laundry, Blairgowri­e.
