Change of role for Gable Endies

-

A Montrose side who have moved from being hunted at the top of League Two to being the hunters host Annan at Links Park tonight.

The Gable Endies are looking to ensure that league leaders Peterhead do not increase their three-point advantage before they get to play their game in hand against bottom side Cowdenbeath.

Links Park boss Stewart Petrie said: “It will not be easy as Annan can still be involved in the play-offs so they will be coming here looking for a win.

“Their manager Peter Murphy has put together a very useful squad who all work hard for him.

“We have managed to leave their home with a couple of 1-0 wins and that is good going, but they got a point on their last visit here. They will be a tough nut to crack again in this one.”

Martyn Fotheringham returns after a ban. Graham Webster is suspended and injuries rule out Matty Allan and Iain Campbell, with Craig Johnston a doubt.
