ST LEONARD’S-IN-THE-FIELDS CHURCH The annual Perth: St Leonard’s-in-the-Fields Church coffee morning, which fell victim to the beast from the east on March 3, will now take place on Saturday from 10am until noon. There will be the usual stalls with food and greetings cards on sale. Tickets for the event, which will be available at the door of the kirk’s James Street hall, will cost £3, with all proceeds earmarked for church funds.

COLLACE AND KINROSSIE SWI Collace and Kinrossie SWI are hosting a daffodil tea in Kinrossie Hall on Saturday, from 2pm until 4pm.

Stalls will include home baking, crafts and competitio­ns.

KILLIN The Lodge 815 have organised a community auction to take place on March 31 in McLaren Hall, Killin.

Figurines, pictures, ceramics and antiques will be up for grabs. Viewing will take place at 4pm, with the sale beginning at 6pm. Proceeds will go to local organisati­ons, including the local school nursery and Scouts. For more informatio­n visit www.lodge815.co.uk.

PITLOCHRY Pitlochry Festival Theatre will host a production of Rumpelstil­tskin on Saturday. A profession­al ensemble will be joined by a community cast of eight local children, aged four to nine years, who have been selected from a creative workshops programme at Grandtully and Kenmore Primary Schools. ACCIDENT An HGV got stuck under the railway bridge on Perth’s Dunkeld Road yesterday at 2.15pm. Damage to the bridge was superficia­l and traffic only delayed for 30 minutes while the lorry was removed.
