Caledonian Marts Ltd, Stirling, sold 2,748 spring lambs, prime hoggets, ewes and tups.

A total of 1,446 hoggets (39-52kg) averaged 244ppkg, with the overall sale average for 2,128 hoggets sold being 233.3ppkg (-6ppkg on the week). Top price of the day went to Doune Farms for a 58kg Beltex at £142. Top price per kg went to Meikle Seggie for a 41kg Beltex at 290ppkg. Leading hogget prices:

and tups. A total of 175 heavy ewes averaged £93.08 selling to £150 for a pen of Suffolks from Lochend, Port Of Menteith.

A total of 415 export ewes averaged £54.01.

And 29 tups averaged £89.48 selling to £149 for a Texel from Dalchirla Farms. Other leading prices:
