Every chance of hat-trick for Colin’s Brother

Eight-year-old can rise to challenge of hike by handicapper

- The FerreT

COLIN’S BROTHER is on a roll at present and can make it a hat-trick in the Boyne Cup at Ludlow.

The eight-year-old struck at this track in December and then followed up at Leicester in February, showing plenty of guts to steal a nose verdict in a photo with Creep Desbois.

The handicapper has pushed him up 3lb for that success, but Colin’s Brother can rise to the challenge.

ADRIEN DU PONT looks like the one to beat in the Matchbook Betting Exchange Novices’ Hurdle at Wincanton.

Paul Nicholls’ runner has been batting away in decent company all season.

He placed at Grade Two level a couple of times before failing to take advantage of what appeared to be a winning opportunity at Ascot last month.

Sent off the 4-5 favourite in a threerunner affair, Adrien Du Pont was a bit keen in what turned into a tactical affair and then hung after the last before being beaten a length into second.

Adrien Du Pont remains a runner of some potential and this race provides another chance to supplement his sole chased win back in October.
