AUCHTERARD­ER Auchterard­er and District Local History Associatio­n will host a talk by local historian Andrew Finlayson on the standing stones of Strathearn on Friday.

The event will take place in the Aytoun Hall, Auchterard­er and will begin at 7.30pm.

The cost is £3 to visitors, while entry is free to members of the associatio­n.

The Coal Porters will play Backstage at the Green Hotel, Kinross, on May 6 at 8pm. Tickets cost £18 and are available by visiting mundellmus­ic.com.

GUILDTOWN Guildtown Friendship Club will hold a bingo tea in the village hall on April 27. Eyes down at 7.15pm. Admission is £1.

The East Strathearn Community Council will hold its annual meeting at Monzie Hall on April 30 from 7.30pm.
