HORTICULTURE
The Auchterarder Horticultural Society is holding its annual coffee morning and plant sale in the Aytoun Hall, Auchterarder, on Saturday May 12 from 10am until noon.
Entry is £2.50 and there will be a raffle as well as the plant sale.
Supporters are asked to help the society raise funds for its 152nd show on Saturday August 25.
COMRIE CROFT FILM Comrie Croft is putting on a full afternoon of fun, activities, music and refreshments on Sunday May 13 to coincide with a showing of the film Into The Wild.
The event starts at 3pm, with the screening at 3.30pm.
Two admission options are available, with film-only tickets priced at £7.50, and VIP add-on tickets costing £10.
All profits will be donated to Child.org, the charity caring for underprivileged children across the world.
GUIDE DOGS
Perth and District Branch of Guide Dogs and Perth College NC administration students are joining forces for an indoor table sale with refreshments in Guildtown Village Hall on Saturday May 26 from 10am to noon.
There will be craft tables, a book stall, Guide Dog merchandise, quality second-hand goods and a lucky dip.
Refreshments will cost £1.50 for adults and 50p for children under the age of 10.
All proceeds from the event will go to the students’ Name a Guide Dog Puppy appeal.
