Crash treated as murder bid
Detectives investigating a crash in the north of Glasgow are treating the incident as attempted murder.
It follows the discovery of a crashed car in Atlas Road, Springburn, by a paramedic on Tuesday night with no one inside the vehicle.
Officers found the damaged Vauxhall Vectra in the road at about 10pm.
Police said inquiries have shown a blue BMW car deliberately crashed into the back of the Vauxhall Vectra. The BMW then drove off towards Balgrayhill.
A 32-year-old man suffered serious injuries and is stable in Glasgow Royal Infirmary.
