Woman smashed window

-

A Kinross woman lobbed a brick through her former partner’s window following a break-up, Perth Sheriff Court heard.

Hannah Campbell, 18, became incensed after seeing her ex-boyfriend when she was on a night out with friends in Kinross last March.

Depute fiscal Michael Sweeny said: “The accused and the witness were in a relationship which lasted for around two years.

“At around 10.30pm on the night of the incident the witness was walking home from a night out with friends when he was approached by the accused, who then ran past him,” he added.

“The witness entered the locus and heard a loud banging noise, which was the sound of a wheelie bin being pushed around.

“After that, a loud smashing noise was heard.

“The witness saw a window had been smashed and a brick lying on the ground beside (the broken window).”

Solicitor Paul Ralph said: “Their relationship ended on a sour note.”

Campell, of Bowton Road, Kinross, admitted smashing a kitchen window with a brick at an address in Kinross on March 9.

Sheriff William Wood deferred sentence for six months for Campbell to be of good behaviour and for the Crown to determine the cost of replacing the broken window.
