Popular market rolls into town on Perth’s big weekend
The first Fair City Market of the year will be held in Perth on Saturday. Running from 9am to 4.30pm on King Edward Street, it will offer shoppers the opportunity to taste seasonal food and drink, buy gifts and view arts and crafts.
The event coincides with the BBC’s Biggest Weekend at Scone Palace and festival-goers are being encouraged to venture down before heading off to enjoy the music.
Organiser Adeline Watson said: “The market will have a variety of produce on offer from local gin distillers to plants and unusual craft items.
“We will be encouraging visitors to come into town and experience what Perth has to offer before they head off to Scone.”
