Changed days

“I read an item in a recent Courier about changes to rules on creel fishing,” says Robert Taylor of Laurencekirk.

“Fishermen will have to use certain types of floats on creels marked with the boat’s number while other floats ie plastic cans and milk bottles will be banned.

“When I was young I grew up in Catterline and remember seeing oil cans, detergent containers and glass balls covered in netting all being used.

“Changed days indeed.”
