Profits fall at pet chain

Profits at Pets at Home fell 16.6% to £79.6 million last year as it counted the cost of an investment drive.

It shelled out £13m on price investment and booked a £5m increase in the provision held for practice loans in its veterinary business, which dragged down profits.
