‘Having Keda around really helped’

Johnathon Wilson is one of Keda’s biggest fans. The former soldier, who lives in Irvine, first met the labrador in December 2015 and found she helped him with his PTSD.

“I served in The Royal Regiment of Scotland (2 SCOTS) and was medically discharged in March 2017 with PTSD, which I am still battling,” he says.

“Having Keda around me really helped with my symptoms. She is a great companion and a truly wonderful dog.

“After working in Afghanistan and then in the personnel recovery centre helping our wounded soldiers, she is a true hero.”
