Match-fixing allegations
Welsh player David John and Chinese pair Yu Delu and Cao Yupeng have been suspended over allegations of matchfixing.
The World Professional Billiards and Snooker Association announced all three players have cases to answers following an investigation.
The suspensions will remain in place until disciplinary hearings can be arranged, although the players do have the right to appeal.
The allegations against John, who lost his professional status last year and is now ranked 128 in the world, concern matches in which he was involved since 2016. It is also alleged he failed to cooperate fully with the enquiry.
Delu, the world No 43, is accused of “manipulating the outcome of five matches”, failing to report two approaches to fix a match, betting on snooker and failing to fully cooperate with the enquiry.
World No 38 Yupeng is alleged to have manipulated the outcome of three matches and failed to cooperate with the inquiry.
