PERTH
Prospective football coaches are being sought for a course this weekend.
Saints in the Community is running the training for a Scottish FA Level 1.3 coaching in the game certificate on Saturday and Sunday, but has not yet reached the minimum number of applicants to allow it to take place.
It is due to be held at Kilgraston School, from 10am until 4pm on both days.
Places must be booked by noon on Wednesday.

Strathearn Library has started informal monthly meetings entitled A Tale or Two for people who want to share memories, stories and objects from the past.
The first session looked at schooldays using games, jotters and musical instruments. The next event, on June 29 at 2.30pm, will cover the theme of holidays.
ABERFELDY
An Aberfeldy man has won a national award for his work in green energy.
Fred Pullar, an employee of Renewable Parts Limited, won the business development category at the Young Professional Green Energy Awards, hosted by Scottish Power Renewables at Glasgow Science Centre.
PERTH
A senior staff member at Balhousie Care Group has picked up an award for her work in human resources.
Karen Buchan, senior people’s services advisor at the Perth-based care home group, came out on top at the Cherries Awards, which recognises excellence in human resources, training and recruitment.
Karen played an integral part in restructuring Balhousie’s human resources team, including focusing on recognising every staff member’s skills and involving residents and family members in care decisions.
