Perth’s Inner Link club will next meet at the city’s Lovat Hotel, for coffee, at 10.30am on Wednesday June 20.
GAELIC
The Gaelic Society of Perth will hold its annual church service on Sunday June 17 at 3pm at the Congregational Church in Kinnoull Street.
It will be led by Reverend Angus Morrison, of Orwell and Portmoak Church, and refreshments will be provided afterwards.

OPERA
Rehearsals are in full swing for Perth City Operatic Group’s production of HMS Pinafore.
It will be performed from September 5 to 8 at the city’s North Inch Campus. Actors have had the benefit of a lesson from Suzanne Wilkie, a retired Lieutenant Commander of the Royal Navy, to show them how to act like sailors. TRADE UNION
The next meeting of the Unison Perth retired members will be held on Tuesday for the group’s annual summer outing.
The trip’s theme is a “mystery tour” round the Angus coast, with stops at various venues and a high tea on the way home.
Places are still available, prices at £12 for members and £15 for guests. Pick-up points are at the South Inch car park at 10am and Kinnoull Street at 10.30am.

A star of BBC’s Biggest Weekend is returning to Perthshire.
