Woman assaulted her ex-partner

-

Sentence was deferred on a Perth woman who forced her way into her ex-boyfriend’s flat and armed herself with a knife.

Yesterday Perth Sheriff Court heard how Alexandra O’Neil, 22, of Potterhill Gardens, had arrived at the man’s home uninvited and then threatened to self-harm – both in the property and out in the street.

O’Neil admitted that on August 30, 2016, at an address in Kinnoull Street, Perth, she attended at the flat uninvited, repeatedly struck a door, forced entry into the property, armed herself with a knife, threatened to self-harm by stabbing herself, repeatedly shouted that she was being attacked by her ex-boyfriend, threatened to self-harm in the street while covered in blood and still in possession of the knife. She also pleaded guilty to a charge that on the same date in King Edward Street, Perth, she assaulted her former partner by repeatedly punching him on the head and scratching him on the head and body.

Sheriff Gillian Wade deferred sentence until July 11 for background reports.

Meanwhile, Sheree Kelly, 30, of Pomarium Flats, Pomarium Street, Perth, will appear for sentence at court on July 11.

She admitted that on February 11 at an address in County Place, Perth, she assaulted a woman by seizing her by the hair and repeatedly punching her on the head and body.

Sentence was deferred for background reports.
