Perception of disability challenged

Gold Lame, an art installation by disabled artist Tony Heaton, is unveiled on a plinth in Liverpool’s St Nicholas Church Gardens.

The fibreglass and steel sculpture, which depicts an Invacar like the one the artist was issued with in the 1970s, aims to challenge perceptions of disability.
