DUNKELD

Guide Dogs, Perth and District Branch, has organised a guide dog fun day to take place in the garden at the Atholl Arms Hotel, Dunkeld, on July 8, from 11am until 3pm.

There will be face painting, children’s lucky dip, guess the gin competitio­n, a 50/50 raffle and guide dog merchandis­e will be on sale.

BLAIRGOWRI­E

A fashion show will take place in Blairgowri­e in aid of Angus Cat Rescue.

It will be held in the M&Co store on the High Street at 7pm on June 28.

Tickets cost £5 and are on sale now in the Blairgowri­e shop, with all proceeds going to Angus Cat Rescue.

SCONE

Scone Remembers will be holding its fundraisin­g strawberry fair on Saturday in Scone New Church Hall, from 2-4pm.

Tickets are £5 each and are available at the door.

KENMORE

The Scottish Crannog Centre will host a musical evening to celebrate midsummer night on Thursday.

Perth’s Mad Ferret will be playing in the Crannog Roundhouse together with musicians from Loch Tay’s Tarmachan.

There will also be an open mic session.

DUNKELD

An art exhibition will take place in Dunkeld on Thursday and run for 10 weeks.

It will be held in the Duchess Anne church hall, the Cross, Dunkeld.

PERTH

Friends of Cognac’s committee is planning future events which will include a trip to Cognac in September to visit the twinning group Amis de Perth.
