Allan Bryant appeal to feature on Crimewatch
Broadcast will air this morning and will feature Fife man’s parents
An appeal for information about missing Fife man Allan Bryant Jr is to feature on the BBC’s Crimewatch Roadshow.
The broadcast will air on BBC1 at 11am today and will feature the 27-year-old’s parents Marie and Allan Sr.
Police Scotland’s Detective Inspector Kevin Houliston will appear alongside the Glenrothes family in a bid to drum up new leads in the long-running missing person inquiry.
Allan, who was 23 when he disappeared, was last seen leaving Styx Nightclub in the town on November 3 2013.
No trace of him has ever been found despite an extensive police probe and his family hope the nationwide appeal will help shed light on their loved one’s disappearance.
Allan Bryant Sr, 52, said: “It’s been a really hard month and a bit because we’ve actually been keeping this a secret.
“What it does is it gives people another way to actually come forward to the police with information through the Crimewatch Roadshow.
“They can text and there’s a phone number as well. It is a positive step and at the moment that’s what we want to focus on.

“The main thing is it’s going to be aired nationally and it’s a big step toward keeping Allan in the public eye as well.”
The family have campaigned tirelessly to try to find out what happened to their loved one and have previously told how they believe he may have been murdered.
The Bryants have also been the victims of claims from online trolls.
