BURRELTON Burrelton and Woodside senior club raised £1,014.26 through a cycle ride.

The money will go towards the members’ Christmas party and coach trips.

The club’s Just Giving page will remain open for a few more weeks to see if they can reach their target of £1,500.

BLYTHSWOOD

The monthly Blythswood Care collection van will be visiting Perth on July 3, from 11.30am until 1.30pm at McDiarmid Park, Crieff Road.

PERTH

Perth’s continenta­l market will return to the city from June 28July 1. It will be open daily from 10am-5pm.

Councillor Kathleen Baird, environmen­t and infrastruc­ture vice-convener with Perth and Kinross Council, said: “The regular markets in Perth city centre are a popular draw for residents and visitors alike to enjoy quality local and internatio­nal food, drink, crafts and other products.

“It’s important that the mix of opportunit­ies on offer for shoppers is diverse and encourages them to spend time here.”

BREAST CANCER SUPPORT The Perth Breast Cancer Support Group is holding a meeting this evening from 7pm- 9pm.

A talk will be given by Circle of Comfort.

GLENFARG FOLK CLUB Glenfarg Folk Club will host Davy Holt and George Machray at Backstage, The Green Hotel, Kinross, on July 2.

Doors open at 7.30pm, with the music beginning at 8pm.

Entry is £6 for members, £9 for non-members.

SCONE

The Tayside Kidney Patients Associatio­n is holding a prize bingo at the Robert Douglas Memorial (RDM) Institute, Scone, on Friday at 7.30pm.

Admission is £1.
