The event will take place on Saturday, from 10am to 2pm.

Entry is free with a selection of hardback books for £1 and paperbacks for 50p.

POPPY VOLUNTEERS Poppy Scotland is looking for volunteers from Dunkeld and Birnam and surroundin­g areas to help with the anniversar­y of the First World War.

November’s Remembranc­e Sunday will mark a century

since the end of the conflict.

Poppy Scotland is asking for local volunteers to help with its door-to-door campaign.

The next meeting of the Scone Seniors Club will take place in the RDM Institute on Wednesday, at 2.30pm.

Ronnie Fotheringh­am will be a guest storytelle­r and tickets will be on sale for future events.

FOLK NIGHT Glenfarg Folk Club will welcome Scottish folk musician Findlay Napier for a special performanc­e on Monday October 15.

It will be held at the Green Hotel in Kinross at 7.30pm. Tickets are £6 for members and £9 for non-members.
