BURRELTON AND WOODSIDE

New and returning members were welcomed to this season’s first meeting of the Burrelton and Woodside Senior Club.

Entertainm­ent was provided by Joe Aitken from Kirriemuir who delighted the audience with many songs.

The next meeting will be held tomorrow at 2pm, in Cargill Burrelton Church Hall.

A fundraisin­g concert will be held next Friday at the Red House Hotel. Eddie Rose will be performing from 7.30pm. For tickets call 01828 670692.

ERROL

The Errol pensioners group is holding a prize bingo tea next Thursday.

Eyes down is 7.30pm, in the Masonic Lounge, High Street.

Killin Music Festival’s annual general meeting will be held in Killin Church community rooms on Wednesday October 17. All welcome from 7.30pm.

PITCAIRNGR­EEN Artists will be displaying and selling their wares at Pitcairngr­een craft fair later this month. To be held in the village hall on Saturday October 27, there will be everything from home furnishing­s to jewellery, cards, gifts and food.

Entry costs £3 and includes tea and coffee. It is free for children and runs from 10.30am until 3.30pm.

PERTH

Perth and Kinross Council will host an electric bike workshop this week with Bike Station.

It will run from 8am to 6pm
