Branklyn Garden to host twoday family Halloween festival
A National Trust for Scotland site in Perth will take part in this year’s Halloween celebrations with a two-day family festival.
The Branklyn Garden will host children and parents for the Stoats Creepy Crawl event.
Visitors will be able to take part in a host of special Halloween activities on October 27 and 28, including, spooky trails, puzzle solving and apple dooking.
The event is being held in partnership with oats company Stoats which will provide prizes throughout the day.
It is part of the National Trust for Scotland’s Halloween programme, with 15 festivals taking place throughout the country.
Clare Willis, marketing manager at the National Trust for Scotland, said: “This year, the Stoats Creepy Crawl has truly grown and with five new properties taking part we can’t wait to welcome even more families than ever before.
“We have some traditional and not-so-traditional spooky Halloween challenges for them to try out, so it’s set to be a fantastic weekend and they get to enjoy it all while exploring our beautiful heritage.”
Tony Stone, managing director of Stoats, said: “We’re delighted to be partnering up with the National Trust for Scotland to create a weekend of family fun this Halloween at the Stoats Creepy Crawl.”
The Stoats Creepy Crawl takes place between 10am and 4pm both days.
Children’s tickets cost £4 and adults go free.
Youngsters are encouraged to come along in fancy dress, with prizes for the best costumes including Stoats goody bags and day passes for National Trust for Scotland attractions.
