SCONE A coffee morning will be held at Scone and St Martins Parish Church tomorrow from 10am to noon.

Home baking will be on offer as well as a cake stall, a book stall and a prize draw.

Tickets are £3 for adults and £1 for children.

BURRELTON The Burrelton and Woodside Senior Club’s community cafe will be opening every Tuesday from noon at Burrelton Church Hall.

The club’s harvest supper will also take place on Friday October 26 in the church hall from 7pm.

PERTH Perth and Kinross Council’s events team is on the hunt for entertaine­rs to take part in the Christmas lights switch-on weekend.

Organisers are looking for performers to take to the stage and the streets from noon to 6pm on Saturday November 17 and noon to 5pm on Sunday November 19.

PERTH The Gaelic Society of Perth will hold its next ceilidh at St Matthew’s Church hall, Tay Street, on Friday October 26 at 7.30pm.

There will be performanc­es from Perth Gaelic Choir and Calum Angus MacDonald.

Tickets cost £6 for members and £7 for non-members.

BALBEGGIE A fundraiser for local cats and other animals in need is being held on Friday November 2 from 10am to 4pm at St Martin’s Public Hall in Balbeggie.

A number of items will be on sale. The local Brownies and Perth Men’s Shed will also have stalls to raise funds.

SCONE A community open afternoon will be held at the Robert Douglas Memorial Institute on Abbey Road on Sunday from 1.30pm to 4.30pm.
