Hill of Beath appear likely to march on

-

In Conference A, Hill of Beath will be expected to make it six wins out of six away to Hawick Royal Albert.

The Haws have scored 33 goals so far while the hosts are third from bottom.

Meanwhile, in the same division, Oakley have it all to do away to League leaders Penicuik Athletic.

The hosts, who this week lost their manager Johnny Harvey to Berwick Rangers, have won all six games and are averaging more than six goals a match. All three of secondfrom-bottom Oakley’s points have come on the road, but it would be a real fillip for them if they could halt the Lothian club’s run.

Blairwood boss Richard Fox is still missing Lee Dawson, Ryan Lemetti and Calum Runciman, but welcomes back Tony Doubleday.

Given they have already beaten Eyemouth 5-0 and 6-0 this season, it would be a brave man to bet against Dundonald returning from Warner Park with anything other than three points.

The Moorside men are joint top of Conference B with Bonnyrigg Rose, while their bottom-placed hosts have no points.

Other than keeper James Lennox and striker Callum Smith, the Fifers have everyone available.

The other Fifers in that conference, Burntisland Shipyard, are away to Tynecastle and hoping to add to their one victory in six attempts.

There is a basement battle in Conference C where Ormiston welcome Inverkeithing Swifts.

The Fifers are bottom without a point from their six games, while the Lothian side, who are immediately above them in the league, have only one win from their five outings.

St Andrews United head to Tranent for a firstround League Cup tie.

Although they had no game last week, Dylan Honeyman remains sidelined. Boss Andy Brown is also without Ryan McInnes and Paul Quinn.

With no competitive fixture, Crossgates Primrose and Jeanfield Swifts have arranged to play a friendly at the Fleet Grounds, Rosyth, with a 12.30pm start.
